Eve Online: Old Storyline Intro

Eve Online's 2015 Fanfest will be underway in a couple of weeks so I thought it would be interesting to look back at some of the older game intros. Over the years CCP has released three different game intros. The first intro know as the Old Storyline Intro features still frame pictures and a simple voice over. This intro focuses on choosing a side and catching you up on the history of the different factions.

I think the old storyline intro really calls back to the simplistic 90's style game intro where that was used to help you cross the diegetic line and immerse yourself in the games story by means of simple pictures. Instead of giving away all the game play right up front. Next week we will look at the 2009 intro.
