Star Trek Armada 3

The other day I was watching through some videos when I stumbled upon this, Star Trek Axanar a fan made kick starter film thing. A pretty cool low budget little show. After watching it though I started thinking about how much fun it would be to play a Star Trek RTS. Back in the day I played a lot of Star Trek Armada. What ever happened to those games anyway? So I did a little Google searching and found that a hit came up for Star Trek Armada 3. So I checked it out and found a very well put together mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.

What a find. You know those days where you are thumbing through youtube or searching around the web for something fun to play and you land on a game that you had never seen or heard about before. Then it turns about to be a pretty well put together game that is such a good feeling when you find something like this. It gets better they just came out with a Call to Arms patch with Axanar themed space ships. RTS PC game mods are the best.
